History

Dippool Curling Club was formed in 1849 and admitted to the RCCC in 1929.
The club has its origins in the small Lanarkshire village of Auchengray near Forth, Scotland.
It takes its name from the small burn, the Dippool Water which flows near the village. The earliest matches were played on an outdoor rink, formed by damming this burn.
